Stay on Lit Path

  • The path is marked by string lights.

  • Stay on the designated path.

  • Do not stray away from the lit path.

Quarry Safety

  • Watch your step! Be aware of steep drop offs into the quarry. Do not climb or walk over rocks at the quarry edge as they may be unstable.

  • Granite is slippery when wet. Use caution when walking over exposed outcroppings of granite.

  • Wear appropriate footwear.

  • Children should always be under the immediate supervision of adults when visiting a quarry environment at night.

  • You can easily fall off the edge into the quarry when you do not know the terrain at night.
