Bowl Painting Event for The Open Door Food Pantry

Hosted at Starfield
Every year our community comes together for one of its most beloved and important events – The Empty Bowl Dinner, a fundraiser for The Open Door, our local food pantry. Initiated in 2001 by Marty Morgan with the help of fellow potters, community members now decorate the bowls at painting parties that are organized throughout the year.
September happens to be Hunger Action Month and you can take action to help end hunger! The bowl you are invited to come and paint for free will be given out at The Empty Bowl‘s fundraiser-dinner as a reminder that somewhere in our community someone’s bowl is empty.
Register for an opening on September 20 through this link.
Please note:
You just need to register for any open time slot on the Advance Registration page to be able to come and paint a bowl.
Tables will be set up with supplies so that anyone who is interested can participate and paint a bowl. There is no special registration page specifically for painting a bowl.
All are welcome! We will have enough bowls for everyone who signs up on September 20….
