Spirit Sensing Film and Live Performance at Harvard

Thursday, April 24 from 6-7 pm

Spirit Sensing: Anima of the Quarry, the short film based on an intuitive performance by Manship Artists Kyle Browne and Stan Strickland, will be shown along with a live performance at Harvard University’s Program for the Evolution of Spirituality’s Spring 2025 Conference: Spirituality and the Arts on Thursday, April 24 from 6-7 pm. In person registration is closed for this conference, however, you can sign up to attend virtually as many of the sessions will be streamed live. You can access the conference schedule here. You must register in advance to attend.

The performance was inspired by Browne’s explorations of the energy of the site and the belief in anima, that all things have a consciousness. An interactive discussion with the audience will follow the screening and life performance with Manship Board member Ken Kinna, who edited the film and who is responsible for shepherding the film’s tour at international short film festivals, during which it has won numerous awards.

The film has only been shown at film festivals and during a fundraiser to support the film’s tour. In addition to signing up to attend the screening virtually on April 24, for a limited time you can access the film through the conference’s virtual gallery.
