Several members of the Gloucester Area Astronomy Club will be on hand to provide a guided tour of the autumn constellations and eye-popping telescope views of the Andromeda Galaxy, Lyra’s Ringed Nebula, the Perseus Double Star Cluster, ringed Saturn and many other celestial wonders. There will be 3-5 telescopes and a binocular station.
In the event of clouds, the backup date is Saturday, October 25 from 7-9 pm.
Please register in advance: Register Here. The event is free. There is a $20 suggested donation.
And be sure to dress warmer than would seem necessary.
