Meet the Manship Artists

Recognizing that creative people are not just visual artists, but also scientists and thought leaders, the Manship Artists Residency has an interdisciplinary approach when selecting residents. Below you will meet those who let their imagination lead at Starfield. If you would like to be considered for a future residency, please fill out this form. Submissions are reviewed annually in the fall by a jury of distinguished artists for the coming year.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to giving artists and the creative spirit time and space to flourish for the benefit of our community.

The Residency

We provide a place for artists and thought leaders to evolve and connect with the natural world and Cape Ann.

Cape Ann: Artists Haven

Artists are attracted to this region for its special light, topography, and its distinctive New England architecture.
